This Association of a professional nature and national scope, has among its objectives to look after the interests of the profession and to a greater extent of its members.
COFENAT intends to unite, associate and create a body with all professionals practicing Natural Health Methods, to increase their strength, presence and role in our society.
We seek to increase the corporate spirit of our union, to achieve greater signs of identity, in each of the professions we represent and what important work they do in today's world, so far from nature.
Hold within its scope the defense and representation of the different Natural Techniques and Therapies before the Administration, Institutions, Courts, entities and individuals, with legitimacy to be a party in all disputes that affect professional interests and exercise the right of petition, in accordance with the Law, without prejudice to the provisions of section 3 of art. 1 of Law 19/1977 of April 1.
Order within the scope of its competence the professional activity of associates, ensuring professional ethics and dignity and respect due to the rights of individuals, exercising disciplinary authority in the professional order, without prejudice to the provisions of current legislation .
Adopt measures conducive to avoiding professional intrusion and confusion with other activities unrelated to the proper exercise and application of Natural Therapies., Supervising that all associates have the technical capacity necessary for professional practice, discouraging the exercise of the profession with degrees. not II legally approved, or not considered sufficient by the appropriate body of this association.
Intervene in the process of conciliation or arbitration in Law, in matters that for professional reasons arise between associates, or between these and individuals outside the entity who so request, resolving discrepancies at the request of the interested parties. that may arise on the fulfillment of the obligations arising from the work carried out by the associates in the exercise of the profession. Said arbitration function will be performed by the members of the Ethics Commission constituted in the Arbitration Court.
Regulate the minimum fees, when they do not accrue in the form of tariffs, tariffs or fees.
The promotion of health care according to the criteria of the different currents of natural health care (Natural Therapies) and their application in accordance with conventional therapies within the framework of an integrative concept of health, exercised in a multidisciplinary way.
Promote the existence of specially trained professionals, trained to exercise this concept of health care, as a way for its recognition and appreciation by the society they serve.
Promote the endowment and development of the legal framework and the training, labor and material means that are necessary for professionals to be able to carry out their healthcare work with full legality, like the rest of professionals who watch over the health of their fellow citizens, in collaboration with them.
Promote the existence of regulated academic degrees and their official study plans that cover the different levels of the training system in Spain and the European Union, which are taught and accredited by centers officially recognized by the Spanish State, in a way that fully guarantees before society: the minimum training level essential for the exercise of natural therapies, the necessary and adequate technical training for these professionals and the minimum conditions for professional practice.
Promote the associationism of these professionals for the best defense of their own interests and those of the patients or users who wish to choose their health care from these integrative criteria, as well as the interests of society in general regarding the health area is concerned.
Create a Registry of Professionals of Natural Therapies with express mention of their qualifications, generating an accreditation and self-regulation body for the professional activity of its associates.
Promote within the European Union a European General Council of Professionals in Natural Therapies.
Promote the dissemination, knowledge and practice of Natural Therapies in the field of Veterinary Health.
