This integration project seeks environmental and economic sustainability in the agri-food activity, as well as the commitment to increase the production of organic products, with the aim of leaving future generations a more natural and healthy environment.
For this reason, the key to the development of this project lies in the integration of all the executive members of the cooperatives that are part of Unica Group, participating in management and development, with full transparency to all members and with a structure that It allows to have lower costs and greater efficiency in operation.
The set of cooperatives that make up the Unica Group have managed to coordinate to unite their interests and wills, and to be able to work collaboratively, thus achieving annual growth of over 20%, which has made it possible for this second-degree cooperative to be third consecutive year, the leading export cooperative in the Spanish fresh market, according to data published in the report by Alimarket magazine in January 2017.

Unica Fresh is born
In September 2016 Unica Group joined the AN Group, going on to form Unica Fresh, in order to jointly market all the fruits and vegetables on the fresh market, thereby becoming the first cooperative in Spain, with a close turnover to one billion euros, where fruits and vegetables for the fresh market billed 320 million euros this season.
