Faculty of Agriculture and Economics of the Agricultural University of Hugo Kołłątaj in Krakow - the largest and oldest faculty of this university.

Faculty of Agriculture and Economics of the Agricultural University of Hugo Kołłątaj in Krakow - the largest and oldest faculty of this university. Its beginnings date back to 1890, when a 3-year Agricultural College was created at the Faculty of Philosophy of the Jagiellonian University, transformed in 1923 into an independent Faculty of Agriculture of the Jagiellonian University. This faculty became the basis for establishing in 1953 the Agricultural University, from 1972 the Agricultural University. He played a large role, not only in educating students, but also the academic staff, which contributed to the development of the University and the creation of new faculties in its structures. In 2001, the name of the Faculty of Agriculture was changed to Agriculture and Economics.
