Water Congress "6th IAHR EUROPE CONGRESS"

In 2020, the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Main school of Agriculture in Warsaw and the Institute of Geophysics, will organize the water Congress "6th IAHR EUROPE CONGRESS". This Congress will be held under the auspices of the IAHR (international Association of hydro - ecology and research engineers). IAHR is an international Association for Water-Environmental Engineering and Research. Founded in 1935, it is the world's most important organization of water engineers and specialists working in fields related to hydro-environmental Sciences.

The planned event is the largest and most important Congress organized to date in Central Europe. The Congress will be held on 30.06-2.07.2020 in Warsaw. The Congress will cover topics related to hydraulic engineering, environmental hydraulics, extreme water events, engineering and environmental research, Ecohydrology, and natural risks with special emphasis on climate change. As in previous publications, we would like the Warsaw meeting to be an interdisciplinary platform for experienced and young researchers, practitioners and teachers in the field of water and environmental engineering research. The meeting will also be a huge opportunity to introduce the Polish environment to topics related to water research.
